I am looking for a lab in the US that will create 2 1/4 or larger B&W film negatives from digital files. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

print negs at home?
Kay,
I'm not sure how much technology you have at hand but if you have an inkjet (preferably an Epson 2200, 2400 etc), you can easily make negs.
I tried a few different transparency types and I'm digging the pictorico stuff.
Dan Burkholder has put together a bunch of curves to be used with the epson printers.
Just a thought.
Cheers,
T

Re: Negatives from digital files
I would recommend Chicago Albumen Works. I considered dr5chrome but had the impression it was a jack of all trades master of none whereas my impression of Chicago Albumen Works was master at digital negatives and to-date I am happy with their work. Given the sarcastic reply by a dr5chrome representative to a previous comment, I would also assume dr5chrome staff are narcissistic and likely treat potential customers like crap.

Let's not eat our young, here. I think that dr5chrome's quip wasn't representative of the quality of their product. I've heard many good things about dr5chrome, and although I haven't used their services yet, I may in the future.
