The only way I know of doing it is to take them all down and upload them in the order you want.

Thanks for taking the time to post them.

0606039-R1-071-34 "Girl apparently in tears":
Not sure I understand the skin color in this one. Shoulders might be due to suntan but the top half of the face, from tip of nose up, looks red. If it looks right to you let me know. Otherwise, it's a good shot in that her expression made me stop and look.

0606040-R1-076-36A "Mother with baby" Well, she sure caught you taking the picture, but I'm delighted with your capture of her smile. Maybe she's excited about her child's apparent interest in dentistry

I'd sure like to hear more about those "re-do" requests, such as what changes did you want, and how did you get them to do it without holding a pistol to their head. I've no experience with Cord Camera, but long experience with 1-hour processing outlets.

The girl apparently in tears was taken near sunset, and that accounts for the orange color cast.

Regarding the scans:
Sometimes the scans are too light, lacking in highlight detail. The operators seem to like them lighter than I do.

Your rugby shots are great, all the Rugby players where I work said they were good.
Were they taken on C41 process & converted, or on B/W negative?
Did you use the 180mm or the 560mm? Great capture of the stiff arm.

The three "Under a bridge ..." photographs look like B/W negatives. If so, please provide detailed description how these scans compare to the darkroom prints. Perhaps these scans were of the prints, not the original negatives. Please advise.

I like the tones very much in

and all the Rugby shots.

Thanks for taking the time to post.

The rugby shots were taken with the 560mm f/6.8 Telyt-R wide open on either HP5 or Neopan 400. All the B&W photos on here were scanned prints. I use a Rolleimat enlarger with a Leitz 50mm f/4.5 Focotar-2 lens, one of the best lenses ever designed for enlarging. I have had it since 1978 or so.

You can find them on e-bay from around $300-500.

The scans of B&W prints are never going to equal a print, of course, but I think they capture the range well enough.

Best ever skin tones from your Kodachromes. I especially liked the photographs using 200 speed.

For each of your Kodachromes, especially the newer ones, the exposure you chose seems really spot on. Not sure I've ever seen anything comparable at the Kodachrome Project site. It's as if you're using an entirely different film.

Keep posting!

Thanks! Leicaflex SL2, with central spot metering. Leitz lenses have an extraordinary quality, that's why I use them.

Also, many years of experience.

All manual, no auto-exposure, no auto-focus, no motorized film advance.

I am missing Kodachrome very much.

What is Kodachrome Project?

This website is better (imho).
http://sites.google.com/site/ronaldandrews/kodachrome

but here is the "The Kodachrome Project" (don't blame me)
http://www.kodachromeproject.com/

I shoot with a 90mm summicron M, apochromatic/aspherical and do not expose Kodachrome as well as you. Kodachrome Project shows others with my disability.

So keep posting! ... if only to keep me off the Leica Forum.

These come close to, or sometimes exceed, your abilities with Kodachrome

I don't like M cameras, never have, even though I know the lenses are better than R lenses. I'm a reflex guy.

Hah! Although I share you feelings towards M cameras, finally I can dispute with Ornello.
I love my 90mm M lens, but I don't think its MTF curves will ever compare with yours. Additionally, yours can focus a lot closer than mine.

Independent of focal length, I don't think there's ever been any M lens like your 180. I'd look at image quality from any medium (film, digital, etc.) shot with that lens and drool. What's especially impressive are your images shot with pre-aspherical versions of the R lenses.

I agree with the infamous(?), notorious(?), obsessive(?) Erwin Puts ... in the end, lenses, even Leica lenses, are just like Detroit cars. It's the cubic inches that count. Your R lenses have more.

By the time I'd learned and seen all this, I was fairly well invested emotionally and financially in the M side. The M's portability (lenses and camera) and the viewfinder outweigh the other considerations. For me, a right-eyed person, M cameras are more usable than Rs. I've never figured out where to put my nose with any SLR.

I currently own the following R lenses:

21mm Super-Angulon-R
28mm Elmarit-R (1st version)
50mm Summilux-R (1st version)
90mm Summicron-R (1st version)
180mm Elmarit-R (2nd version, just acquired last summer; many of the images were taken with the first version)
350mm Telyt-R f/4.8
560mm Telyt-R f.6.8

I have also owned the following R lenses at one time or another:

19mm Elmarit-R
90mm Elmarit-R
50mm Summicron-R
180mm APO-Telyt-R f/3.4
180mm Elmar-R
250mm Telyt-R f/4

I didn't keep the 19 because it did not focus as close as the 21 and it was difficult to use filters with it. So, I sold it and got another 21mm SA.
I didn't keep the 180 APO because it sucked big time.
I sold the 50mm Summicron to get the 50mm Summilux.
I sold the 90mm Elmarit to get the 90mm Summicron.
I sold the 180mm Elmar when I sold all my equipment at one point.
I sold the 250mm when I got the 180mm APO-Telyt.
