I hardly ever used the stuff. Films faster than about ISO 400 really have significantly larger grain and are much less useful. What I do miss is Kodak infrared!

I've never used it, but I've seen people use the grain effect to their advantage. The method was to shoot with a wide angle so that the image you wanted was a small part of the center, then crop out just about everything by extending the enlarger head as far as possible fromthe easle.
