The film is not well known and neither is the developer, so you are unlikely to get an answer to your question.
You will have to experiment to obtain a suitable development time. Sorry.

i've made a cross search on the chart and came in to the conclusion that the developer PROMICROL share the same developing times of the UNCLE MORT'S listed films.

http://www.digitaltruth.com/devchart.ph ... mdc=Search

so i've tried the develop times indicated for shanghai film and it's ok.

should this work for other films?
does it makes sense?

thanks

i've made a reverse search on the develop times indicated by the developer, and came to the conclusion that it has the same times has the Promicrol developer, so in principle, i could use the Promicrol chart...

does this makes sense?

thanks

Yes, your results are good -- but if it is a 'HOMEBREW SOUP' why is the FORMULA not publshed so we can make it up ourselves instead of having to go to a Spanish site and BUY it ?
Got COMPUTERISED and 'slightly Digitised Pentax K10D' but FILM STILL RULES !

I wonder what the developing time is for Yashimoto YZYX cubic film in Aunt Jemima's pancake syrup. Any ideas?

i think the name "HOMEBREW SOUP" is just the brand that this company created...

the company is called IDS independent darkroom supplier, i think it's a small company and they give funny names to their products

for example, the stop bath is Uncle Mort's Safe Stop ,the fixer is Uncle Mort's Lightning-Fast Fix and the paper developer is Uncle Mort's Super-Duper Paper Dev

so it's just the name...

my big question was not about this specific product, but how can i find the dev. times for other films not listed, and what i found was another developer that share the same times, so i used the chart for that developer, and that's it :-)

i also guess that in photo labs if someone could come with a bulk film loaded in a blank canister with no information the guy would have to use some kind of generic formula for safe develop the film

Use Tri-X in D-76. It's more consistent and reliable.

I have just finished a work session using Uncle Mort's kit and it looks to me that they are rebranded Champion products, being that "Homebrew" something quite close to Promicrol (even the plastic bottles of both products look quite similar).
Great products, by the way, I don't care if some people make fun of it.
