In need of times for Pan F+ and Arista Premium

Post by jcecil »

I cannot find any data for developing Ilford Pan F+ in Arista Premium developer. There are times for Pan F+ in Arista Liquid (Stock), but not Premium (1:9 or Stock). I can try the listed time for Arista Liquid but that doesn't match up for Arista Premium when developing other films. From Freestyle's website they don't list a time either. Very confusing, it's not as if this film cannot be developed in Arista Premium. I teach high school photo and just switched from Clayton F76+ to Arista Premium so have to redo all of my time charts.

I would recommend testing a roll at 5.5 minutes at 1+14, or if you need 1+9 then try your test at whatever time you currently use in F76+. The manufacturers don't publish a time for this combination, so you will need to run your own tests. Once you have determined the best time, please submit it to the Massive Dev Chart!

Pan-F develops very quickly, so be conservative with your times.
