Our shipping charges are fully inclusive of all packaging and handling. As with any mail order business, you will save on shipping by purchasing more than a single item due to the way that delivery charges are calculated.

As we work with a variety of distributors using multiple carriers, we are unable to offer tracking information; however, we monitor each order to ensure it is promptly shipped, and accept full responsibility for any shipping errors.

All chemicals are shipped by UPS/Fedex Ground unless stated. We aim to ship your order as fast as we can, which usually means the same day or next day. If your order is delayed for any reason we will advise you by email. You can always cancel an order prior to shipment, but please let us know if you require an urgent or expedited service. UPS Ground takes approximately 3-5 working days in transit, so most orders arrive about a week after they have been placed. If you do not receive your order within 10 working days please contact us. As with all delivery services, weekends are not counted in the times quoted. It is very rare for an order to be delayed, and almost unheard of for one to go missing, but rest assured that your goods are fully insured in transit and we will ship a replacement in the case of a lost or damaged item. Non-chemical orders are also shipped by UPS/Fedex Ground, except in the case of small orders which are sent by USPS mail. We offer the same guarantees on USPS shipments as above.

For orders to Alaska/Hawaii, normal domestic shipping terms do not apply. Please use our shopping cart to request a shipping quote.

For orders over a certain weight, you may have the option to select "Invoice Shipping Costs" or "Request Shipping Quote". In these instances, the shipping cost displayed is $0.00. This does not mean that shipping is free: it is to enable us to charge you the lowest possible rates at actual cost. If you select "Invoice Shipping Costs" we will invoice you for the actual cost of shipping. If you select "Request Shipping Quote", we will send you a shipping quote prior to processing your order.

International Orders

All items are shipped by USPS Priority Mail International unless another method is specified. If you select the "International Shipping quote" option in the shopping cart prior to making payment and we will contact you with the available delivery options for your country. Delivery times vary by destination, but are usually in the region of 6-14 business days.

Please note that although the majority of our products can be shipped internationally, we do not usually ship liquid chemistry due to its weight. A small number of raw chemicals which are subject to hazmat restrictions are also unavailable outside the continental United States.

Import duties, taxes and clearance fees may be applied to your order upon entry to your country. We do not have specific information about each country's import charges, but in general small orders seem to arrive without duty applied. If you are concerned about import charges you should contact your national customs agency prior to ordering.

Returns

Once your order has shipped we cannot refund your payment unless the goods are lost or damaged in transit (if it is lost or damaged we will always refund you in full, inclusive of shipping). If you wish to return an item for any reason you must do so within 7 days of receipt and we will refund your card for the cost of the item, less shipping costs, once it has been returned to our warehouse. We cannot refund our shipping costs or your return shipping costs if you are returning an item unless it is a result of our own error. If we send you the wrong item by mistake, we will of course offer you a replacement product immediately, and will not charge you in any way for the extra shipping or hassle! If for any reason you do need to return an item it is essential that you contact us by email prior to sending the item back as we source stock from multiple locations and will not accept responsibility if you send the item to the wrong address.
