I have tried both of the films mentioned, but find the results slightly lacking in depth of color .I guess after using VC for so long I am a little stuck in my ways . but now I must adapt go forward . I have used Rollei bw film and that's great ,low grain and pin sharp has any one used there Redbird...

Replacement for kodak portra vc

I have just used my last rolls of kodak portra 160 vc, can any one recommend a replacement film giving the same color saturation as the old vc ? I have tried ektar 100 as this is supposed to be a saturated film , but i find the colors are just to washed out. I know the problem is not with the proces...

Thanks I did a little digging and found out that is is the same film as agfa aviphot pan 80 and I have down loaded a spec sheet (http://www.maco-photo.de/files/images/Retro80S_aviphot_pan80_en.pdf ) from them ,at a glance I think it tells me what I need to know ,I will have a good look later in the ...
