Re: HC-110 dilution calculation

Kodak has always used letters for the HC-110 dilutions. This is their methodology and you can still make a stock solution and then dilute this further as a result.

Re: HC-110 dilution calculation

Kodak prefers to use the letter for each dilution as the product has historically been sold in different formats and can be mixed from stock or concentrate.

Re: HC-110 dilution calculation

Dilutions for HC-110 are expressed as letters, not numbers. If you check the Note attached to each HC-110 dev time you will see the numeric equivalent when mixed from concentrate. You can modify the data for the film/dev combination you require by replacing the letter used for the dilution (eg. Dilu...

Re: Ars imago FD & lomography film

If no time is listed, you need to run some tests. Other medium speed films develop between 3.5 to 7.5 minutes, so the time is likely to be within this range at 1+39, 20C.

Re: Darkroom timer app

Allowing the phase names to be changed would cause problems with importing and exporting the data and make the export file incompatible with other users. The app is designed for all levels of users and adding the ability to change the phase names could cause complications for many beginners. We have...

Re: Darkroom timer app

Hi Nigel, If you are referring to how to remove a time from the My Times database, then in iOS you need to click Edit and a red (-) button will appear allowing you to remove the entry. In Android, the (-) is visible without needing to enter the Edit screen. If you require additional support, please ...

Re: Darkroom timer app

Some times in the chart are for use in a Jobo processor or are specified for use with continuous agitation. This information is posted in any applicable Notes which are listed on the Timer screen. If the time you select does not specify Jobo or continuous agitation, then you need to make your own ad...

Re: 120, D-76 (1:1), Tri-X 400 Underexposed

Hi, The time of 9 3/4 minutes is the official time published by Kodak for Tri-X 400 in D-76 1+1. This is a common combination used by many people over a long time, so it should be a very reliable starting point. You say that your film is underexposed. If that is the case, then it is your light meter...

Re: Darkroom timer app

Thank you for posting, your input is really helpful. The agitation sequence includes 3 seconds of audio pips each time it is about to commence, so you could use this feature to warn you that the alarm will go off by invoking it just prior to the end of the timer sequence. Because agitation can be se...

Re: Custom names for stages

Hi, While you can use the Massive Dev Chart Timer for color development, we strongly recommend you switch to the Darkroom Lab Timer for this purpose: it has all the phases you require already in place. At the moment the Darkroom Lab Timer is only available for iOS, but we will be releasing an Androi...

Re: Darkroom timer app

The idea of a variable start delay has been added to our list for possible future inclusion. Thanks! In terms of allowing the user to navigate in the app while a timing phase is active, this is problematic for a variety of reasons, but we will also add it to the list of items for possible future inc...
