Re: selenium toning

Re: selenium toning

The differences are very subtle on MG-FB paper with selenium toner, but can cause slight colour shifts with other papers. My own preference is to wash the paper thoroughly and to use a final rinse in ADOX AG-STAB which was formerly known as Agfa Sistan. This solution also slightly enhances the densi...

Re: Rollei/AGFA Superpan 200 Development

Films in the ISO 400 speed group are capable of very good quality enlargements when exposed and processed properly. Popular films are Kodak Tri-X, Ilford HP5 Plus and Fuji Neopan 400. There are others too, but these films are very good. Try Ilford FP4 Plus if finer grain is required. FP4 Plus is ISO...

Re: FX37 activity

Perhaps a slightly weaker dilution would be better such as 1+4 or 1+5.

Re: FX37 activity

I noticed that for this image, that you used a dilution of 1+1 for developing the film instead of the 1+3 dilution recommended by Geoffrey Crawley who designed the developer.

Re: Condensers for Leitz V35 enlarger

If you are OK with imports, try secondhand darkroom in the UK, or try eBay. They do turn up sometimes.
The Leitz 40mm Focotar lens which comes supplied (I think?) has a fine reputation.
