The great thing about Rodinal is that the concentrate in the bottle lasts for decades and you can use any dilution you like; 1+25, 1+50 or 1+100. Some folks use 1+75.

I like the 1+100 dilution for 16 min with Efke 25 at an EI of 20.

Don't worry about using the stuff up.

Grab a copy of Anchell's "The Darkroom Cookbook" (thru internet bookstores or you local library). Lots of recipes in there.

A scale is best, but I mostly use kitchen teaspoons to measure out my chems.

Meritol was a combo of PPD and catechol. Scouring other formus I found that 7g of PPD and 9g of catechol was equal to the 16g of Meritol. Yes, 777 has been around for years, but it is not a waste of time to use it. Photographers for decades have used it to get great results. It's a developer like any other developer and takes a bit of time and effort to nail down your EI's and times.
