Moersch seems to be gaining some traction here in the States. Wondering if anybody here has some hands-on experience with Moersch developers and/or toners. The website galleries have some really beautiful examples. Robert Vonk, anything to contribute on this subject?
Thanx

I have not tried any of his products personally, but he seems to have a large array of specialist processes for sale on his website and there are plenty of images of his work on Flickr along with technical details there.

Tanol, Finol. But comparing Finol to Pyrocat-HD(C) it is not so different. And Pyrocat-HD(C) you can also use in rotary development.

The disadvantage for Pyro type developers for me is that it is not 1:1 working anymore with my Split Grade system from Heiland. This is due to the colorizing of the negative which is different for each type/brand of film.

Yes, I agree with Fotohuis:

Finol has little advantage over Pyrocat HD(C).

I have ask those persons that stated that they have used Finol and have found it to be a great developer, have also told me that they had not used Pyrocat HD(C) prior to using Finol. So I question its overall performance. I am sure it is a good product. Yet can the expense be over looked when PF is offering Pyrocat HD(C) at a lesser cost, minus shipment cost.

If I come across some Finol locally here in Michigan, I will give it a test. But I too, like Keith, have reviewed his work on Flickr. Good stuff, yet the soles of my feet, are not burning up quite yet. We shall wait and see.

I guess his developers aren't ringing anybodies chimes. What about his toners? The examples on his website are awesome by my standards, anyway. I will say, though, that the book, "Beyond Monochrome" also had some nice examples.

In the mean time fixed with the Split Grade software V3,2 A where you can add the parameters for the film compensation when working with Pyro type developers.
