Delta veri-sharp enlarger alignment tool?

Hello,I was given one of these with no instructions.The company doesn't seem to have a website.Does anyone know how to use it?It appears to be a an acrilic ruler with a small spirit level on one end,However the level itself is adjustable with set screws.Maybe I'm just dumb but I don't get the set screws!Any help would be appreciated.
