Arista.edu (foma?) with hc110

I'm new here, but I've used the charts for years. (my name is in that big list) I tried some of Freestyle's arista.edu film in 120, and thought I'd share my findings. Tried d76 -not happy. flat, thin and washed out.

Next tried hc110 at high dilution. Tried 1:50 at 10 min, 68* and 1:100 at 20 min, 68*. Results very good. Great accutance, contrast a little high. Agitation continous first 30 sec, one inversion with a swirl every minute. Seems like 18 min 1:100 68* should be about right. (eg. 1:100 =5ml of pure undiluted goo out of the bottle to 500 ml of tap water. Use a syringe (without the needle) to measure the goo)

Cameras used:
Rollieflex 3.5/75 tessar
Pentacon 6tl 2.8/80 Zeiss Biometar
Graflex Century Graphic 2.8/80 Schneider Kruesnach Zenotar
Metered by Gossen Lunasix Pro at iso 100

It's nice film. Try it. The price is right too.

I am not affiliated with Freestyle in any way. I'm just a (cheap) hobby photographer looking to stretch a buck.

Arista EDU (old and new) is equivalent to Fortepan.
Arista EDU Ultra is equivalent to Fomapan.

You can use the times posted in the chart for Fortepan and Fomapan respectively to develop these films.

It's Arista.edu ultra (foma) that I used. I haven't tried the forte.
I looked at the charts, but thought I'd try the higher dilutions of hc110. I have not seen any published times for hc110 at high dilutions with foma.

I should have been clearer re: "ultra" and iso 100. my apologies for any confusion.

We are the Foma distributor in the Netherlands. On our NL-website you can find the best combinations for Foma films. *Assortiment* --> *Filmrolletjes* --> *Foma film* --> *ONTWIKKELTIJDEN* (Near the PDF Foma Catalogue)

Most are also European developers (AM74/R.H.S. - SPUR a.s.o.)

Hopefully this helps.
