Re: Best Developer for Kodak Tri-X?
Almost any popular film developer is suitable for Tri-X. D-76 is a good beginning point.Julian Goldswain wrote:Hi all,
I cannot import Kodak Microdol x cost effectively, and would like to know what the next best developer is for Kodak Tri X
Any suggestions welcome

The word "best" is subjective. With that in mind, my choice for "normal" developing would be Clayton F76, or the CP Powder mentioned above. But I adore Formulary PMK for almost anything.
Where are you trying to import it to? If you're in Europe, Foma makes some fine developers (www.foma.cz), as does Ilfor: ID-11 is a fine grain developer like Microdol-X. look at www.ilford.com.
