development of maco 820 ir film

could anyone please fwd details of developing maco 820 35mm ir film, wich has been rated at iso200. i rgularly use ilford ddx film dev but can find no times or dev strengths for this. many thanks.

That's what we have on our web site for this out of production IR film. IR820C is replaced by the Rollei IR-400 film.
DD-X wil be around in time like the Microphen developer which is in the list.
Load and unload the IR820C in the dark. Effective E.I. will be around iso 3-6 with a black IR filter like RG695 or RG715.
The Rollei IR-400 has different characteristics. E.I. 12-25 with the same filters. Also fine grain and available only with the A.H. layer. This film is on clear PET base and non-curling layer. The Rollei you can load and unload in subdue light. The sensitivity is going quicker down around 750nm than the IR820C which was a modified Efke 100 emulsion.

but was not aware that microphen is a close equivalent to DDX.

Both Microphen and DD-X are speed enhancing developers. If you have no idea what to do with this film: Start with some regular Efke 100/Adox 100 times.
The same is valid for the Rollei IR-400 film. The production is from Gevaert aero industrial films and very simular like the Agfa APX400 film. So also from this fact it's quite easy to work out with some different developers.
