Tri-X with D-76 @ 1+3

Hi all,

I've read that some developers have an additive to make it "a fine grain" developer, but diluting it it will be possible to get a better acutance showing the real film grain structure. This is what happens when using D-76 alone and 1+1.

I've also seen somebody using D-76 1+3. Has anyone any idea of the processing time for Tri-X @ 400ISO?

Thanks

I'd recommend a starting point of 14-15 minutes at 1+3 for Tri-X. Let us know how it works out.

Good day,

Thanks for your tips. These two are the only developers I use, D-76 1+1 and Rodinal 1+25.

I love grain in the pictures and wanted to see what kind of grain D-76 could get when using it more diluted.

Anyway, I'll try both (D-76 1+3 and Rodinal 1+50).

Cheers
