I find it frustrating that people who get into B&W photography often gravitate toward extreme effects rather than simply letting their images speak for themselves. It is relatively easy to make sharp, fine-grained images if you know the technique. Grain for grain's sake has been done for so long...it's just trite and pointless.

Ornello, have you seen mr. chop's work? maybe he has he hottest thing to come, maybe not. but at least he is giving it a whirl. where/when do we get to see your work?

The site has been repaired. Here is a hot taken on Neopan 400 or HP5, I can't remember.
