i am thinking of buying an e-6 cemical kit so that i can proccess my own slides. I have done b&w proccessing countless times before. I now use paterson system tanks and reels. does anybody have any tips for me? Oh and why dont film companies tell you developing times for slide film like they do for B&w print film?
thank you!

Slide processing at home can be a real challenge. The temperature of the chemicals must be maintained +- 1/2 degree. IF not the color and exposure of the slides will be affected. In my opinion it is better to have E-6 processed by apro lab, one with a dip and dunk style processor. It's the only way to maintain any consistancy.
