help w/ developing film

Post by kansascamera »

Hello, new person to the dark room. Two questions, please:
1. I have a roll of 120 (not 35mm) Adox CHS 100 Art - 100 ISO and want to develop it with Ilfotec HC (because I have it on hand). I can't find that combination in the massive development chart. Any suggestions for time? I am used to working with the Ilfotec at 1:31 dilution.
2. I shot a roll of Ilford HP5 Plus ISO 400 but used all camera settings as if it was a roll of ISO 100. (sigh....) I am guessing this is way overexposed film. Can I salvage it in the processing? Shorter processing time, maybe?
Thank you kindly for any help/tips you have to offer.

Ilfotec-HC diluted 1+31 is similar to Kodak HC110 at dilution B, so use that as your guide.

That is MOST helpful! Just how exactly did you learn that Ilfotec HC 1:31 is equvalent to Kodak HC Part B?
Thank you for sharing this info with me............so much to learn here.
