Has anyone tried this film and developer combination?

Honestly I would not bother. D-76 1:1 will give every bit as good a negative. The main limitation of quality is the film, not the developer. There are good developers and bad ones (such as Rodinal) but fortunately very few bad ones. So long as you keep your film away from Rodinal you'll be fine.

Looks like Ornello is baiting again, trying to bring the rodinal lovers out.
