The instructions for the `new` Paterson Aculux-3 along with other Paterson chemicals, can be downloaded from the site as a `Microsoft Word` document. http://www.patersonphotographic.com/che ... 0index.htm

Looks like Acutol is gone, to be superseded by FX-39.

It`s probably best to send an e-mail to confirm, in case they`ve not written up the processing times yet.

Already did.

"Dear Ornello:
We have resumed production of Black and White Chemistry. FX-39 has replaced Acutol as our High Definition Developer. It was always intended that FX-39 would eventually replace Acutol as their properties are very similar.

With advancements in all types of black & white films in the 50 to 200ISO range, FX-39 gives superior results to Acutol. If you have been happy with Acutol in the past I am sure you will be delighted with FX-39. Our first delivery from the mixing plant is due during the next 7 to 10 days after which we will start shipping it to stores. Also in the range is a new version of Aculux which gives even finer grain than Aculux II.

Regards
Roger Parry
Marketing & Technical Manager"
