Using the 25 Step Options

All of the steps are available from the EDIT screen. To access the steps, select a TEMPLATE, then click +/Edit.

Phase sequence:

  1. Preheat
  2. Prewash
  3. First Dev
  4. Dev/Rep
  5. Wash
  6. Stop (ie. Stop Bath, or plain water bath)
  7. Reversal
  8. Color Dev
  9. Developer A (for use as main Developer phase)
  10. Developer B (set 0:00 unless using 2-bath technique)
  11. Wash
  12. Stop (ie. Stop Bath, or plain water bath)
  13. Pre-Bleach
  14. Bleach
  15. Bleach-Fix
  16. Wash
  17. Fixer A (for use as main Fixer phase)
  18. Fixer B (set 0:00 unless using 2-bath technique)
  19. Wash A (for use as main Wash phase)
  20. Wash B (set 0:00 unless using 2-bath technique)
  21. Hypo Clear
  22. Final Wash
  23. Rinse Aid
  24. Stabilizer
  25. Drying

To ACTIVATE a step:

  1. Select the Step group from the Edit menu
  2. Highlight the specific step name (eg. "Stop" from the "Wash/Stop" group)
  3. Set the required time using the selector wheel (H:MM:SS)

To DEACTIVATE a step:

  1. Select the Step group from the Edit menu
  2. Highlight the specific step name (eg. "Stop" from the "Wash/Stop" group)
  3. Set the required time to 0:00:00 using the selector wheel (H:MM:SS)

To SET AGITATION for a step:

  1. Select the Step group from the Edit menu
  2. Under the specific step name highlight Agitation: Initally
  3. Set any required time for initial continuous agitation using the selector wheel (H:MM:SS). For example, if you want to agitate continously for the 30 seconds, this value should be set to 1 minute (0:00:30)
  4. Next, highlight Agitation: Afterwards
  5. Set any required time for agitation using the selector wheel (H:MM:SS). For example, if you want to agitation for 10 seconds per minute, you should set this value to 10 seconds (0:0:10).
  6. Next, highlight Agitation: Repeat Every
  7. Set the interval for agitation using the selector wheel (H:MM:SS). For example, if you want to agitate for 10 seconds per minute, this value should be set to 1 minute (0:01:00)

To TURN OFF AGITATION for a step:

  1. Select the Step group from the Edit menu
  2. Highlight the specific agitation step name
  3. Set the required time to 0:00:00 using the selector wheel (H:MM:SS)

KEY FACTS

Steps highlighted in BLUE
– these steps are ACTIVE
A + B Steps
– A + B Steps are designed for two-bath techniques. If you are not using a two-bath technique, set the A step as required and leave the B step set to 0:00.
The sequence of steps cannot be reordered.
– There are multiple variants of some steps to accommodate various processes.
